Harrowgate Elementary had a school wide reading competition. The entire student body participated in a "Million Minute Reading Challenge." The winner was the class that read the most books. An ice cream party, sponsored by MMHMF, was the prize.
AND THE WINNERS WERE ……!!! The picture on the left was taken at the celebration that was organized and conducted by Outreach members Barbara Crews and Gayle Sutton. This 4th grade class collectively read the most number of Minutes. MMHMF also gave the students pencils.
