MMHMF Was On The Front Cover Of The Local Newspaper!
The outreach team delivered books for the carver middle book club march 8, 3024 members and school officials were interviewed by the Richmond Times Dispatch:
Reporter Thad Greene interviewed members Alberta Stith, James Stith, Cortez Dial, Nancey Ross, Gloria Harris & husband Doug Harris. Principal Bryan Hicks, CIS Coord. Rebecca Hayes and Stephanie Smith, Instructional Design also participated. All plus some students appear in the above photo. The interview continued at Union Grove Baptist Church, were Martha Mason Hill, her father and family worshipped and where the MMHMF Annual Awards Program is held. Foundation members Trudy Stephenson, Judy Stephenson and Arlene Morre joined the group in discussion with Mr. Green. Lunch was served.
