Student Outreach News

The Foundation is responsible for the Annual Senior Awards Breakfast. The meal is prepared and served by Board of Directors member, Garrett Mason and his associates. TAFFY JONES-HAYES, SCHOOL INTERVENTION SPECIALIST,
RETIRES, SENDS THANKS TO MMHMF

The Foundation outreach team worked with Taffy, the Intervention Specialist for Harrowgate and Marguerite Christian Elementary Schools, for many years. She was a joy to work with! Taffy never missed an opportunity to show her gratitude for our support, no matter how small. She will be greatly missed.

"Dear Members:

Your generosity to the students in Chesterfield County over the years has been boundless. You have enriched the lives of so many children. Once again, the students at Harrowgate Elementary and M. Christian Elementary thank you for your support, the books, and for believing in them."

In May, Harrowgate, Ettrick and M. Christian Elementary Schools each received several hundred books for students to take home for their summer reading enjoyment. Outreach Committee members delivered the books. Pictured are students at Harrowgate on "book delivery" day.
