JAVONTE GREEN, the youngest child of Maxine Green and Jeffrey Mason enters his third year of playing professional basketball in Europe. In 2015, Javonte Green or “Woo” as he is known to his family and friends spent his first year playing professional basketball with Marin PeixeGalego in Spain’s LEB Silver. His team won the league title and the cup and he was awarded the Eurobasket.com All-Spanish LEB Player of the Year, Import Player of the Year and Forward of the Year. Javonte relocated to Italy in 2016 and signed with Pallacanestro Trieste. He has re-signed for his second season. He averaged 16 points per game and 6 rebounds in the Serie A2 regular season. Javonte’s parents, siblings, grandparents, family and friends, especially his uncle and aunt, Alfred M. Mason Jr and Kim Mason, continue to encourage and pray for his continued success. Javonte is the great-nephew of the late Martha Mason Hill.
